Speedo is gearing up for the 2008 race season as we continue our involvement with NHRA and USAR Pro Cup. With wins in the NHRA Pro Stock and USAR Northern Division Pro Cup Series, Speedco is looking forward to even more trips down Victory Lane in 2008.

NHRA

Speedco will continue their sponsorship with Jegs and driver Jeg Coughlin Jr., who hopes to return his yellow Chevrolet Cobalt to the winner’s circle in 2008. Coughlin won the 2007 NHRA Powerade Pro Stock Championship.

Vandergriff Motorsports

Speedco is proud to sponsor of Vandergriff Motorsports and the UPS Top Fuel Dragster in the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA).

Driver Bob Vandergriff Jr. career highlights include:

2004: Runner-up finish at Reading
2000: Finished in the top 10 for the fourth consecutive season
1998: Qualified for all 22 national events
1994: Named NHRA Rookie of the Year

In 2007, you may have noticed a new Speedco trailer at the race tracks. Speedco will once again team up with Arnie Martel to help his team in the Sportsman division.

USAR Pro Cup

Speedco will continue their long-standing partnership with Odle Motorsports in the USAR Pro Cup Series.

In 2007, driver Gary St. Amant won the Northern Division Pro Cup Championship. Known as one of the most consistent racers, St. Amant hopes to race his No. 7 Chevrolet Monte Carlo to the checkered flag again in 2008.
